Wedding Videography Terms & Conditions 21/02/24

1. Definitions

“Videographer” refers to [Dylan McCafferty Media].
“Client” refers to the individual(s) booking services.
“Event” refers to the wedding and associated activities agreed upon in writing.

2. Booking & Payment

A non-refundable booking fee of 20% is required to secure the date. The remaining balance must be paid no later than [1week] before the Event. Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation of services.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

If the Client cancels, all payments made are non-refundable.
If the Event is rescheduled, the Videographer will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date, subject to availability. Additional fees may apply.

4. Coverage & Deliverables

The Videographer will provide services as outlined in the agreed package.
Final deliverables (e.g., highlight film, full ceremony edit) will be delivered within [ 6/8weeks] after the Event. Delivery timelines may vary during peak seasons.

5. Creative Control

The Client acknowledges that the Videographer retains full creative and editorial control over the style, content, and final edit of the video.

6. Audio & Lighting Conditions

The Videographer is not responsible for compromised quality due to poor lighting, weather conditions, or restrictions imposed by venues or officials.

7. Equipment Failure & Liability

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, or unforeseen circumstances, liability is limited to a refund of payments received. The Videographer will attempt to arrange a replacement where possible.

8. Client Responsibilities

The Client must ensure the Videographer has appropriate access and permissions at the venue(s). The Client is responsible for informing guests and relevant parties of filming.

9. Copyright & Usage

All footage remains the property of the Videographer.
The Client is granted a personal-use license. Commercial use or editing by third parties is not permitted without written consent.

10. Promotional Use

The Videographer may use footage for portfolio, website, social media, and promotional purposes unless the Client requests otherwise in writing prior to the Event.

11. Delivery Format & Storage

Videos will be delivered via [online link/USB/etc.].
The Videographer will retain footage for up to [24 months], after which it may be permanently deleted.

12. Travel & Accommodation

Travel within [50miles] is included. Additional travel or accommodation costs will be agreed upon in advance.

13. Force Majeure

The Videographer shall not be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or emergencies.

14. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

15. Agreement

By paying the booking fee, the Client agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full.
